HARRISVILLE CITY PARKS

The Parks Department maintains quality parks, trails, and open spaces that provide excellent recreational opportunities, inviting community gathering places, and aesthetically pleasing green space.

ATTENTION: Millenium and Harrisville Park Playgrounds

​

The Millennium Park playground located at 550 W 2000 N was removed on February 12, 2020 due to unsafe conditions including dried and brittle rubberized coatings that have exposed sharp edges. The older section of the Harrisville Park playground located at 1350 N Hwy 89 was removed in 2021 for the same reasons.

We apologize for the playground vacancy that will be created by removing these but after receiving professional opinions on their conditions, we feel comfortable knowing that removal is the best and safest option at this point.

 

We will work toward and hope to have both of these playgrounds replaced with updated features by this time next year and look forward to improving our parks with this project.
