Notice Of Public Hearing

Public Notice is hereby given that on June 11, 2024, the Governing Board of the Local Building Authority of Harrisville City, Utah (the “Issuer”) will hold and conduct a public hearing to receive input from the public with respect to the issuance of lease revenue bonds (the “Bonds”) and the project for which the bonds pay all or part of the cost, pursuant to Section 11-14-318 of the Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended.

Notice Of Bonds To Be Issued

Notice is Hereby Given pursuant to the provisions of 17D-2-502 and 17D-2-601 Utah Code Annotated 1953, as amended, that on May 14, 2024, the Board of Trustees (the “Board”) of the Local Building Authority of Harrisville City, Utah (the “Authority”), adopted a resolution (the “Resolution”) authorizing the issuance of the Authority’s lease revenue bonds (the “Bonds”) in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $10,000,000, to bear interest at an average rate of not to exceed 6.50% per annum, to mature in not more than 26 years from their date or dates and to be sold at a discount from par, expressed as a percentage of principal amount, of not to exceed 2.00%. 

Notice Of Public Hearing

In accordance with Utah Code §10-9a-208, Harrisville City will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 7:00 PM, at the Harrisville City Hall located at 363 West Independence Blvd, Harrisville, Utah, to consider Harrisville Ordinance 557; an Ordinance vacating a 20-foot-wide easement and a 35-foot-wide easement on lots 1 and 2 within the Ascension Lutheran Church Subdivision.

Appeal Authority Hearing

Appeal by Joshua and Madalyn Haas and Aaron and Tawna Field who are land owners adjacent to the proposed cluster development, Oak Hollow Subdivision, located at approximately 265 E. Larsen Lane.

Notice Of Public Hearing

In accordance with Utah Code §10-9a-204; the Harrisville City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday May 8, 2024 at 7:00PM, at the Harrisville City Hall located at 363 West Independence Blvd, Harrisville Utah, to take comments for and/or against Harrisville Ordinance 533; an ordinance amending the General Plan Map and Official Zoning Map for certain parcels on West Harrisville Road based on application filed with the City.

In accordance with Utah Code §10-9a-205, the Harrisville City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday May 8, 2024 at 7:00PM, at the Harrisville City Hall located at 363 West Independence Blvd, Harrisville Utah, to take comments for and/or against Harrisville Ordinance 555; a Clustered Development Plan for property located at approximately 863 North Harrisville Road.

Notice of Public Hearing

In accordance with Utah Code §10-9a-208, Harrisville City will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 7:00 PM, at the Harrisville City Hall located at 363 West Independence Blvd, Harrisville, Utah, to consider Harrisville Ordinance 553; an Ordinance vacating a 10-foot-wide public utility easement on lot 10 within Cinnamon Park Subdivision.

In accordance with Utah Code §10-9a-205, the Harrisville City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday March 13, 2024 at the Harrisville City Hall located at 363 West Independence Blvd, Harrisville Utah, to take comments for and/or against Harrisville Ordinance 551; a Clustered Development Plan for property located at approximately 265 Larsen Lane.

Notice of Public Hearing

In accordance with Utah Code §10-6-127, Harrisville City will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 7:00 PM, at the Harrisville City Hall located at 363 West Independence Blvd, Harrisville, Utah, to consider Resolution 24-02; amending the budget for FY 2023-24. A copy of the amendments is available at the City Office during regular business hours. 

Public Notice

Public notice is hereby given in accordance with Utah Code 10-6-152, that the Audit Report of the Annual Independent Audit for Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2023, for Harrisville City has been completed and was received by the City on January 9, 2024. A copy of the Audit Report may be inspected during regular business hours in the Office of the City Recorder located at the Harrisville City, 363 W. Independence Blvd, Harrisville, Utah.

Notice of Public Hearing

In accordance with UCA §10-9a-204, the Harrisville Planning Commission will hold a public hearing December 13, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., at Harrisville City Hall located at 363 W. Independence Blvd., Harrisville, Utah, to take comments for and/or against Harrisville Ordinance 549; an amendment to the Mixed-use/Infill General Plan Map to include Weber County Parcels 11-027-0104, 11-027-0118, 11-027-0023, 11-027-0022, 11-027-0004, and 11-027-0024. Individuals requiring special accommodation (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) should notify the City Recorder at 801-782-4100 ext. 1027 at least three (3) days prior to the hearing.

In accordance with Utah Code §11-36a-502, the Harrisville City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 7:00 PM, at the Harrisville City Hall located at 363 West Independence Blvd, Harrisville, Utah 84404. Harrisville City intends to adopt updates to Transportation Impact Fees. All interested persons in attendance shall be given an opportunity to be heard, and may provide comments, for or against Harrisville Ordinance 546 amending section 10.30.040 relating to the  Transportation Impact Fee Analysis and Transportation Impact Fees Facility Plan. The changes will have citywide applicability.

Notice of Public Hearing

In accordance with Utah Code §10-9A-205, the Harrisville City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 7:00 PM, at the Harrisville City Hall located at 363 West Independence Blvd, Harrisville, Utah 84404. Harrisville City intends to adopt Harrisville Ordinance 544 repeal and re-enact Title 12 Harrisville City Subdivision Code. All interested persons in attendance shall be given an opportunity to be heard, and may provide comments, for or against Harrisville Ordinance 544 Repealing and Re-Enacting Title 12 Harrisville City Subdivision Code. The changes will have citywide applicability.

Notice of Public Hearing

In accordance with Utah Code §11-36a-502, the Harrisville City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 7:00 PM, at the Harrisville City Hall located at 363 West Independence Blvd, Harrisville, Utah 84404. Harrisville City intends to make updates to Transportation Impact Fee. All interested persons in attendance shall be given an opportunity to be heard, and may provide comments, for or against Harrisville Resolution 23-15 and Harrisville Resolution 23-16 Amendments to Transportation Master Plan and Transportation Impact Fees Facilities Plan. The changes will have citywide applicability.

Notice of Election

In accordance with Utah Code Annotated §10-3-301, Harrisville City will have three (3) City Council seats (4-year terms). Those interested in running for any of these seats must file a Declaration of Candidacy, in person, with the City Recorder at the Harrisville City Offices located at 363 West Independence Blvd, Harrisville, during office hours as prescribed by law between June 1, 2023 and June 7, 2023. A Nomination Petition may also be filed during the same time period. Filing fees apply. Any person filing a declaration of candidacy for a municipal office must meet the requirements of Utah Code Annotated §20A-9-203.
