SUICIDE PREVENTION TRAINING (QPR)
Come join Harrisville City and Weber CTC to learn more on how you can prevent suicide in your community by using the QPR method. There will be three workshops held between November to January. Pick which workshop works best for you and join us for a Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Suicide Prevention Training.
At the workshop you will learn how to ask questions to assess a situation, persuade the person to accept help, and refer the person to a professional. Participants will also learn how to recognize the warning signs for someone who may be at risk for suicide. Workshops are free. A light dinner will be provided. All classes will be held from 6pm - 7:30pm at the Harrisville Bi-Centennial Cabin located 725 W Harrisville Road.
